1. 43 yrs young, momma to my 2 tweens, wifey, sister (x5) & friend.

2. I’ve helped 1000’s of women and men transform their lifestyles and bodies over the past 10 years as a nutrition and fitness coach. I don’t believe in dieting.

3. I’m Punjabi, my parents immigrated to Canada from India. I can speak, read, and write Punjabi.

4. Fun fact: my kids are Hindu, Sikh, and Muslim. And I guess Christian by default of their school. We are raising them as I was raised, we believe in all Gods, in all religions, in fact, there is God in each and every living being.

5. I live in a small country town Abbotsford BC. I was raised in an even smaller town that’s hard to find on a map Houston BC.

6. Before becoming an entrepreneur I worked full-time in the marketing world, client-side and agency and eventually started teaching at the college level. I started working at 12 yrs old: paper route, laundromat, retail, RJ (Punjabi radio), VJ-several tv show hosting jobs, MC, bookkeeper Pup owner. Last 10 yrs, Skinnyroti (TM)

7. I competed nationally and internationally in bodybuilding for several years collecting a few overall wins and titles. Through this already trying period of competing, one of my kids was in and out of hospital with “unknown disease”. I think I stuck with the crazy training and diet as my way of having control over something while my life was out of control. It taught me about my will power & resilience.

8. My parents were always very spiritual and I’ve been meditating since before I can remember. But only after recently losing my dad did I truly understand the spiritual world, meditation, and manifestation. I practice this everyday.

9. Besides Skinnyroti I also run another business. We are in trucking and I basically do everything besides operations.

10. I’ve been a transformation and weight-loss coach for long enough. I realized that each client could not lose weight and keep it off unless I helped them to heal their metabolic diseases. I’m currently studying Ayurvedic medicine and my goal and my dream is to be able to help people heal naturally

✅This recipe you can add what you have and skip what you don’t. You really can’t mess it up. Toss it all in the crock pot and let it simmer for 48 hrs. Enjoy!

I always use organic grass-fed bones, organic vegetables and herbs/spices and fresh spring water.

Ayurvedic Bone Broth Recipe:

Ingredients:
- 1-1.5 pounds grass-fed organic beef or chicken bones
- Spring water (enough to fill up the crockpot)
- 1 head of garlic
- 1 large knob of ginger
- 1 large knob of fresh turmeric
- 1 large red onion
- Handful of parsley
- A few sticks of celery and carrots (optional)
- 8-10 pieces of Celtic salt or 3 tsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp peppercorns or pepper
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp hing powder
- 1 tsp carom seed (ajwain)
- 1 tsp fennel seed (sonf)
- 1 tsp fenugreek (methi)
- 1 tsp mustard seeds

Instructions:
1. Place all the ingredients in a crockpot.
2. Fill the crockpot to the top with spring water.
3. Cook on low heat for 36-48 hours.
4. Once done, strain the broth and store it in the fridge. It will keep for several weeks.

👉🏾This is what I use to break my fast when fasting but also kids and myself drink a cup every morning on empty stomach👍🏾

Once upon a time I Unbuttered your Butter Chicken. Today I’m Unfrying your Puris ‼️‼️ #nooilcooking #healthyfoods #skinnyroti

Recipe:

~2 cups whole wheat flour
~1.5 cups yogurt (curd)
~Water (as needed to form dough)
~Pinch of salt

Directions:

1. Prepare dough by mixing the flour, yogurt and salt. Add water as needed to form a stiff dough.

2. Divide the dough into small lemon sized ball. (About 12) Roll out each ball using a rolling pin and additional flour for dusting.

3. Gently drop (one at a time) each puri into a pot of boiling water. In 2-3 minutes it will float to the top and you know it’s cooked. Repeat until all puris have been cooked. Do not stack them wet, lay out on paper towel individually to dry.

4. Make sure you’ve preheated the airfryer to 350 degrees. Pat off any excess water and place 3-4 puris in preheated airfryer for 4-5 minutes. Do not overlap. Puris will puff up and you know they are ready when they turn golden brown and crispy.

5. Serve warm with your favourite accompaniments such as chole (spiced chickpeas) dal (lentil curry, or aloo sabzi (potato curry)

Notes:

I used whole wheat flour to add fibre, vitamins, and minerals to this recipe. It promotes better digestion and better overall health.

By eliminating oil from the cooking process these are significantly lower in calories, fat, and cholesterol.

1 cup Greek Yogurt or vegan use coconut yogurt
2 tablespoons maple syrup 🍁
1 or 2 scoops vanilla protein powder (optional can omit)

2. Combine the yogurt, protein powder, maple syrup and raspberries.
3. Pour into popsicle molds and freeze for 4 hours.
